I normally hate to discuss real issues but tonight I have no choice. I was at a floor meeting and it was mentioned that our RD has a policy, this policy goes something like this: If anybody rips holes in our furniture, she will lock our lounge and kitchen barring us from its use. This annoys me to no end. I am tired of the Draconian policies AU has towards its students. If damage occurs they have a right to charge us, but they do not have a right to lock our lounge. What are we paying $118.50 a week for? The spacious rooms? It seems to me the school’s attitude in general is once you become a student here, your money is assured to them and your rights are non-existent.

I’m sorry for the tirade but it had to be said.
