I read this today Discrimination Against and Harassment of Atheists Atheism Activism and got all charged up.
It’s time to start working on the plan again.
Phase I: Atheism Me.
I need to get my fax server up and running. Build a webpage to allow me to write letters and have them faxed to the right legislative person. In the past I’ve used the ACLU to send form letters, but I need to go to the next step of having my own letters faxable.
In the same phase I need to put a page up with relavent links (Infidels.org, ffrf, americans Uinted, ACLU, American Atheists, etc.) An archive of my letters should be part of the page. I need to hook up with the letter writers they are talking about. Add Fax capablities to the various newspapers. Links to relavent editorials and Internet Infidels news wire.
Phase II: Facilitator
I need to be to provide fax capabilities to Atheists/Freethinkers all around the country. Set up something like the ACLU has. Give me a Zip Code and I can get you to the right local, state, or federal person. Start with Maryland, expand into the Midatlantic (VA, DE, NJ) South might more useful… but I’ll get there. Or perhaps I need to make it clear to the moderates first… attack at the edges so to speak.
That is the start.
