Careful, America has gone so overboard with the sex crimes witch-hunt that they will likely burn you at the stake for stating the obvious: the sex crime witch-hunt is hurting far more “children” than it is protecting. Most so-called criminals would face less time from seriously beating a “child” than they would from giving the child a “sinful’ handjob.

Yeah, it was one of two instances where extreme actions were taken right at the end of sessions. I didn't think it would have happened in a campaign game, but the disposable nature of con characters drove people to push at the expense of the characters.

Thanks for running it and I'll be looking forward to its release.

Hey man, thanks for the write-up. It was amazingly complete and quite gratifying to read. I'm glad you enjoyed the game so much!

Yeah that last conflict was pretty rough. I kinda wish I had asked Bobby's player not to "go there," but once he'd done the thing he did I felt I had to consequate it, lest it feel like cartoony humor.

I'm not sure I'd trade the setup for more play. I really love the collaborative world building that happens in the beginning. I thought both the world building and the actual episode were full of awesome. I would certainly do a full season, though I don't think we ended up giving the series a title.

Not much got cut I didn't think. I thought there should be maybe one additional scene between leaving for South America and the final scene. Besides with hard timeslots like that you either run long or run short.

It was a great game.

Jeff here,
Sorry the game ran long, and the play got shorted out because of all the setup. Its always a risk with running PTA at cons. Its a game that really shines in the long form, not the one shot. Glad you enjoy the play you did get in.

Hey, Rob, welcome to my corner of the Internet. I played Terra the scavenger/jury-rigger girl in the Saturday night game. This was my first actual experience with story games and I loved how with MY after scene framing and stakes setting there was escalation with each action by either a player or the authority. In some games once things are set up it gets anti-climatic actually running the scene.

I'll do a full write up tomorrow. I'm running through all the games I played.

I didn't actually stay for independent publishers roundtable. Mostly it was exhaustion hitting.

Hey man, it's Rob, the guy who ran the game of Misspent Youth. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. I'd love to hear more of your thoughts about the roundtable. Which character did you play in MY?

Wow. Of course that begs the question, what is that in pixy stix per person (PSPP).

I managed to find the video schedule and the toon that didn't work for me was called The Mysterious Cities of Gold. The one I saw that I'd like to have seen more of was called Code Geass: Lelouche of the Rebellion.

The total Pixie Stix, for reference, was 15,000 :) Double Exposure does their best to make NOTHING small.
